Honda and GM will use new Siri Voice technology!!

OK, so you have the new Apple IPhone with Siri voice recognition technology….pretty cool. But what if you had that in the car too without your IPhone??? Well it’s coming, and very soon. Both Honda and GM have made it offficial. But Chrysler, Mercedes, BMW and Jaguar have made commitments for the same technology.
The 2013 Chevrolet Spark will have an infotainment system that is compatible with Siri. The goal from both Apple and many auto manufacturers is too get as much “eyes free” technology into the car to make driving safer for all . It’s a goal that is being addressed even before being mandated by the feds and DOT. I’m glad it’s being included. My IPhone with Siri is fantastic to say the least. It works well when driving to be “hand and eyes” free to watch the road.
